Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice (optional for creaminess and fiber)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, or coconut)
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (Greek or regular; dairy-free works too)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or 2 tablespoons almond flour if you prefer no protein powder)
  • 1–2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter or almond butter (for a cake-like richness)
  • 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, to taste (or a few drops of stevia)
  • 1 tablespoon dry instant pudding mix, vanilla flavor (optional for a “frosting” vibe)
  • 1–2 teaspoons sprinkles, plus more for topping (use dye-free if preferred)
  • 1–2 tablespoons rolled oats (optional for thickness)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Handful of ice, if you like it extra thick

Method

  1. Prep your blender: Add the milk first so the blades move smoothly, then the yogurt.
  2. Layer the frozen items: Add the frozen banana and frozen cauliflower rice. These give your smoothie that creamy, milkshake feel.
  3. Add the flavor builders: Spoon in the nut butter, vanilla extract, protein powder (or almond flour), oats, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Sweeten to taste: Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey. You can always add more after blending.
  5. Optional frosting effect: Add the vanilla pudding mix for a thicker, dessert-like finish.
  6. Blend until silky: Start low, then increase to high for 30–45 seconds, until smooth and creamy. Add ice for extra thickness if you want.
  7. Fold in the fun: Pulse or stir in the sprinkles at the very end to keep their color intact.
  8. Serve: Pour into a chilled glass and top with extra sprinkles. Enjoy right away for the best texture.
