Prep the fruit. Peel and segment the oranges, removing any seeds and most of the white pith. If using orange juice, measure it out and set aside.
Load the blender. Add the oranges (or juice), frozen banana, yogurt, milk, vanilla, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
If your banana isn’t fully frozen, add the ice now.
Blend until smooth. Start on low, then increase to high for 30–45 seconds. Scrape down the sides if needed. You’re looking for a thick, creamy texture with no chunks.
Taste and adjust. Add honey or maple syrup if you want it sweeter.
For more citrus punch, blend in a bit of orange zest.
Serve immediately. Pour into a chilled glass. Top with a sprinkle of zest or a small dollop of yogurt for a creamsicle swirl effect.
