Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • Yogurt: Greek yogurt or plain whole-milk yogurt (unsweetened)
  • Passion fruit: 2–3 ripe passion fruits (or 3–4 tablespoons passion fruit pulp)
  • Sweetener (optional): Honey, maple syrup, or agave
  • Fresh fruit: Banana slices, berries, or mango
  • Crunch: Granola, toasted coconut flakes, or chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
  • Seeds: Chia, hemp, or pumpkin seeds
  • Citrus zest (optional): Lime or orange zest for brightness
  • Vanilla (optional): A splash of vanilla extract for a dessert-like vibe
  • Pinch of salt: Just a tiny bit to balance sweetness

Method

  1. Prep the passion fruit: Choose fruits that feel heavy and slightly wrinkled. Slice them in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds into a small bowl.
  2. Sweeten if you like: If your passion fruit is very tart, stir in a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. Taste and adjust.
  3. Stir the yogurt: Add a pinch of salt and a small splash of vanilla to 1 cup of yogurt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Build the base: Spoon the yogurt into a bowl and swirl in half the passion fruit pulp so the flavor spreads through.
  5. Add fresh fruit: Layer on banana slices, berries, or diced mango. Keep it light—this bowl shines when it’s not overloaded.
  6. Top with crunch: Sprinkle granola, toasted coconut, and a handful of nuts or seeds. Aim for a mix of textures.
  7. Finish with the rest of the pulp: Spoon the remaining passion fruit on top for a glossy, juicy finish. Add a touch more honey if you want.
  8. Optional zest: Grate a little lime or orange zest over the bowl to brighten everything up.
  9. Serve immediately: Enjoy right away while the granola is still crunchy.
